Visit Sofia – Sofia Tourism Administration participates in Japan's largest tourism exhibition

In 2024, the theme of the exhibition is "Travel, An Encounter With New Value Awaits”. The forum attracts over 150,000 visitors, with more than 1,200 organizations from 70 countries and regions participating as exhibitors.

Visit Sofia is participating with a desk featuring informational materials about Sofia’s cultural and historical landmarks, business potential - modern infrastructure - high category hotels and congress centres meeting international standards, high-quality services as well as various opportunities for leisure and entertainment.

During the forum, a Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of tourism was signed between the Ministry of Tourism of the Republic of Bulgaria and the Japan Tourism Agency.

Bulgaria places great emphasis on its strong relationship with Japan in tourism, and its participation in the expo has further enhanced the country's visibility as an appealing destination in Japan.
