The Rhythms of Brazil and the Balkans by Synergia 3 Ensemble

The program of the Trio Synergia 3 ensemble includes standard repertoire works by Brazilian classical music composers such as Heitor Villa-Lobos, Patapio da Silva and Joaquim Callado, as well as works by Serbian authors Marko Tajcevic and Bojidar Boki Milosevic.

Their project aims to show the synergy of Brazilian and Balkan music, focusing on the authenticity of ornaments in traditional folk music and its world-famous authentic rhythms. The program of the project "Rhythms of the Balkans and Brazil" will present the most famous works of Brazilian and Serbian authors, which contain elements of European classical style and traditional music with ethnic and folk melodies of the Balkans and Brazil.

The concert is part of the Sofia Music Weeks Festival and the Cultural Events Calendar of Sofia Municipality in 2023.
