The summer edition of SoFest 2023 will bring together world-class creators, artists and performers on one stage
SoFest 2023 presents SoFest Summer Edition, which will take place from June 22nd to 25th at Kino Cabana, Sofia. The summer edition of the iconic capital city festival SoFest will present four unique concerts and new literary delights. On the festival stage in the heart of the capital, we will see world-class creators, artists and performers.
On June 22nd at 20:00 at Kino Cabana is the opening of SoFest Summer with a concert "Theodosii Spassov ft Hojsak & Novosel". The virtuoso performer of kaval Theodosii Spassov together with Tihomir Hojsak and Filip Novosel from Croatia will present their new project combining traditional Bulgarian and Balkan rhythms.
On the second night of June 23rd at 8:00 PM, SoFest Summer will present "Pendara Ethno Project".
The project created by Nina Nikolina - vocals and Kalin Veliov - percussions and DJ also includes Tanya Parvanova - vocals and Zhivko Vasilev - kaval and pianos.
On Saturday evening, June 24, at 7:30 p.m., two young but proven artists - Tsvetelina Tsvetkova and Kalina Batkova - will take the stage at SoFest Summer. The red-haired fury Tsveti gained popularity with stories about people, love, dreams, our roots, about simple things in the collection "The Green Vest" and with the series "Lady Gergana".
On the last evening of SoFest Summer on June 25th at 8:00 p.m., the audience will enjoy the new project of Dobrin Vekilov-Doni - bass guitar and vocals, Slavin Slavchev - vocals and Venko Poromanski - drums - "Acoustic Queen Project". It also features Slavcho Nikolov from BTR - guitar and Mihail Shishkov - son - keyboards, mandolin and vocals.
You can find tickets for the evening events at a promotional price on the Eventim and Grabo networks. SoFest organizers have also planned an on-site box office on the days of the summer edition, if tickets are still available.
The daytime program of SoFest Summer 2023 will offer children and their families performances, musical, entertaining and educational workshops, and many, many surprises for children and adults.
The little ones will be able to have fun with a rich festival program on June 23, 24 and 25 from 09:00 to 17:00. During the three days at the same times, a themed SoFest Bazaar with producers from Bulgaria and the Balkans will be held at Kino Cabana. The daily program of the festival and the SoFest Bazaar will be with free admission!
SoFest 2023 will be under the patronage of the Ministry of Culture and the Mayor of Sofia Municipality - Mrs. Yordanka Fandakova, part of the Calendar of Cultural Events of the Ministry of Culture and Sofia Municipality 2023.
