New anti-epidemic measures in Sofia Zoo

On the basis of the order of the Metropolitan Regional Health Inspectorate (SHI) and by the order of the director of the Municipal Enterprise Sofia Zoo dated 04.08.2022, new anti-epidemic measures are being introduced in the Sofia Zoo. All visitors in the Hall "Big Cats, Terrarium and Aquarium", Hall "Giants", Halls: "Primates I", "Primates II" and "Primates III" must wear a disposable or reusable protective face mask. An exception is allowed only for children up to 6 years of age. All visitors in the indoor and outdoor spaces of the ME Sofia Zoo who are not from the same family/household, should, if possible, observe a physical distance of 1.5 m between each other.

The gathering of many people in one place on the territory of ME Sofia Zoo is limited/prevented. Visitors are obliged to comply with the measures and rules of the Zoo in order to protect their health and the health of animals that are vulnerable to infection by Covid 19.
