SOFIA STREET ART MAP

The STREET ART SOFIA map was created on the initiative of Sofia Municipality and in partnership with Sofia Graffiti Tour. It includes 20 locations where you can find artworks by 16 artists - 5 foreign and 11 Bulgarian ones. The map contains information and photos of each work. They can be reached on foot, by bicycle or by public transport. These artworks present Sofia through the eyes of street artists.

The selected works were painted by Bulgarian and foreign street artists on electrical panels, walls, and entire building facades. The next editions of the map will feature even more works worth seeing.

Street art and graffiti culture in Sofia and Bulgaria began its development in the mid-90s, gradually becoming an independent cultural phenomenon. The map is in Bulgarian and English. Its print edition can be found in the tourist information centers, and the digital version can be found HERE and HERE.

The STREET ART map was presented at the booth of Sofia Municipality during the international tourism exhibition Holiday & SPA on February 24-25.
