Dutch tulips depicting the logo of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the EU have been planted in Sofia

In the spring of 2018, in the park of the National Palace of Culture in Sofia a colorful mosaic of Dutch tulips will depict the logo of the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council of the European Union. This is a symbol of the cooperation and partnership between the Netherlands and Bulgaria. At the end of September, the mayor of Sofia Ms. Yordanka Fandakova, the Minister of Bulgarian EU Presidency Ms. Lilyana Pavlova and His Excellency Mr. Werner, acting Ambassador of the Netherlands in Bulgaria, planted together tulips in the park of the NPC. All parks and green spaces in Sofia will be colorful and beautiful – the autumn planting includes over 30 000 bulbs of spring flowers and over 1300 trees. They will shape the ever so beautiful look of Sofia.
