SOFIA PAPER ART FEST

Sofia Paper Art Fest is an annual multidisciplinary international festival-like forum dedicated to Sofia and its transformation into a creative capital.
Founded in 2011 by AMATERAS Foundation, it presents innovative modern art in the field of the PAPER ART Movement. The Fest is a multidisciplinary forum for innovation not only for Bulgaria as its influence over the years has spread to various countries in Europe, Asia, Australia, Latin and North America.
Each of the editions is connected to the overall strategy of developing this long-term project that inspires artists in different visual and performing arts.
Every year it presents new ideas that meet the European criteria for culture and art. It sets out the priorities of Sofia's Strategy for Culture 2013-2023 "SOFIA – CREATIVE
CAPITAL".

GOLDEN FEATHER CEREMONY – CANTUS FIRMUS

The Largo, Nezavisimost Square, Sofia
The award ceremony is held in honor of May 24 – Day of Bulgarian Education and Culture and Slav Letters. The laureates will receive a gold brooch in the shape of a pen. The ceremony will be attended by prominent Bulgarian musicians and ensembles.

SPRING BOOK BAZAAR

In 2019, the traditional Spring Book Bazaar at the National Palace of Culture will be held for the thirteenth time.
The biggest publishing houses in Bulgaria will take part in it. During the event meetings between readers and popular Bulgarian authors will be held, and numerous readings,
discussions and exhibitions will also be organized.
The event aims to bring together readers, their favourite authors and publishers. It encourages young authors to develop and participate actively in the cultural life of the
capital by presenting their works to a wide audience.
