HIGHLIGHTS THE BEST OF BALLET ARABESQUE

GALA EVENING dedicated to International Dance Day

On April 29, the world dance community celebrates its professional holiday. The date was chosen in honor of the great French reformer Jean-Georges Noverre, who is considered the “father” of ballet (04/29/1927- 10/19/1810). It is pleasant to remember that this memorable day was established precisely in Bulgaria, at a meeting of the Permanent Dance Committee of the UNESCO International Theatre Institute (1978). On the eve of International Dance Day, Ballet “Arabesque” will present HIGHLIGHTS, a program including fragments of some of the most significant performances of the troupe. The variety of different dance styles, original choreographies, impressive stage environment, complemented with musical works by classical and contemporary composers, create a feast for the senses and reveal the expert ability of the dancers to shift from one miniature to another, demonstrating high professionalism and artistic mastery.
In the Gala evening program, you will see fragments from foreign and Bulgarian choreographers, who have worked with the troupe in recent years:
