Alexander Dondukov Boulevard is a central boulevard. At the beginning of the boulevard one can see main public administrative buildings.
In 1901, along the boulevard passed one of the first tram lines in the city. One can see the ruins of Roman Serdica in subway at the Presidency.
Alexander Mihailovich Dondukov-Korsakov (1820-1893) is a Russian royal prince and an officer, who took part in the War of Liberation. He is a high commissioner in Bulgarian principality (1878-1879). He inaugurated the constituent assembly in Tarnovo, took part in the administrative and military arrangement of the country.
